Breckenridge Ski Resort, CO

December 11, 2018

Breckenridge needed to manufacture the complex, organic retail serving solution spec’ed by their foodservice facility architects, the ski resort turned to Multiteria. That’s when their dreams became reality.

Overview

When Breckenridge needed to manufacture the complex, organic retail serving solution spec’ed by their foodservice facility architects, the ski resort turned to Multiteria. That’s when their dreams became reality.

The Challenge

A ski resort in Colorado was looking for a partner who could manufacture a complex S-shaped counter designed by an architect. The unusual and difficult-to-make shape was not a possibility for most manufacturers.

The Multiteria Solution

Multiteria’s design engineers rose to the challenge! With their extensive technical and design capabilities they created the S-shaped counter exactly as the architect had imagined. Multiteria then took the design to the next level by suggesting a recycled countertop material, a perfect fit for the feel of the Colorado resort. Additionally, Multiteria made sure the counter was prewired to a single load center to make installation effortless for the general contractor.

Both the customer and architect were beyond pleased with the result. The seamless countertop construction with recycled material and swooping S-shape echo the natural surroundings and give the ski resort a truly unique retail environment.

Resources Used

  • Multiteria always utilizes a 16-gauge frame
  • Paperstone Recycled Cardboard surface/counter composite
  • Millwork provided by others retrofit in the field on the stainless steel tubular framework
